Replacement Policy

At Versus Sportswear, we take pride in providing high-quality products. As all of our products are custom-made, we do not accept returns or exchanges. However, we do offer replacements in the event of a confirmed manufacturing defect. This policy outlines the conditions under which a replacement may be issued.

1. Scope of This Policy

This Replacement Policy applies only to manufacturing defects. A defect is defined as an error caused during the production process that results in a product differing from the approved design or provided specifications. The following are considered defects:

  • Misspelled Names or Numbers – If the name or number on the uniform does not match the submitted roster.
  • Incorrect Design – If the team name, logos, or other design elements do not match the approved design.
  • Incorrect Color – A color qualifies as incorrect only if the factory did not use the provided color code. Differences in shade due to screen variations or subjective dissatisfaction do not qualify.
  • Incorrect Sizing – If the garment does not match the Versus Sportswear sizing chart (available at versussportswear.com), with a tolerance of ±0.25 inches. Customers must provide proof that the measurements do not align with the chart.

Manufacturing defects do not include errors resulting from incorrect information provided by the customer at the time of ordering.

2. Reporting a Defective Product

Customers must report any defects within 7 days of receiving the product. Reports submitted beyond this period will not be eligible for a replacement.

How To Report a Defect

A defect can be reported through one of the following methods:

  • Email: Send an email to [email protected] with details and photos of the defect.
  • Phone: Call our customer support and select the support option via our IVR system (available during business hours).
  • In-Person: Visit our office during business hours with the defective item for an in-person assessment.

Proof Requirements

The customer must provide clear proof of the defect:

  • Sizing Issues: A photograph with a measuring tape showing the incorrect measurement. The garment must be laid flat without scrunching to ensure accurate measurement.
  • Misspelled Name or Number: A comparison between the submitted roster and the printed name/number.
  • Design Defects: A comparison between the approved design and the final product.
  • Color Issues: A comparison between the provided color swatch and the color used in production.

Customers visiting in person may bring the defective item for direct inspection at our office.

3. Resolution of a Confirmed Defect

If a defect is confirmed after review:

  • The customer will be notified of the confirmation.
  • A corrected replacement item will be provided at no cost.
  • In most cases, the customer will be allowed to keep the defective item.
  • If we suspect altered photos or the customer cannot provide the defective item for in-person review, we may require the original defective item to be returned before issuing a replacement.

4. Handling False Claims

If we suspect that a defect claim is fraudulent or altered, the following steps will be taken:

  • The customer will be required to ship the garment back to Versus Sportswear for further inspection.
  • If a defect is confirmed, we will cover the cost of shipping the replacement garment to the customer.
  • If no defect is found, we will return the original item to the customer, who will bear the cost of shipping it back.

5. What Is Not Covered?

The following situations are not covered under this policy and do not qualify for a replacement:

  • Customer-Provided Errors – This includes incorrect size selection, incorrect roster information, or any other order errors made by the customer.
  • Color Variations – Minor variations in color due to digital screen display differences or print processing do not qualify as defects.
  • Worn or Used Garments – Replacements will not be issued for garments that have been worn, washed, or altered after delivery.
